this neo sofa from Design Within Reach doesn't really "speak" to me but how DWR chose to situate it does - i love the gold trims, the what-seemed-like-dogwood blossoms, the muted gray walls and damask drapes. ~exp~

berlin! i recently caught Camille Saint-Saëns's "The Carnival of the Animals" by the Berliner Philharmonie and was thinking "man, E and I ought to pay Berlin a visit!"
The Neo didn't 'speak' to me either until I sat on it. FABULOUS. Great for parties where everyone can be comforable without falling back into piles of cushions. I must have looked at 300 sofas before I found Neo. Love it. (hopefully, mine arrives next week.) I'm eye'ing the rug in that picture, too, but the price tag makes me wince.
