slivers

there are slivers of blessings that i have counted but have forgotten. throughout much of my professional life, i have had the good fortune of having mentors. people who genuinely care. i had lunch with one of them today - someone whom i trust, who doesn't impose his ideas on me, allows me to find my own answers and questions, but gives me the straight scoop whenever i ask for it. i'm inspired - even if i had to trudge through muck. life is good when someone cares enough to touch my life.

i've been infatuated with Catia Chien's work for a while ... my new inspired outlook reminds me of her dreamy, ethereal play of watercolors ... enjoy :) ~exp.
