Hot/Cold

I know . . . I know . . . Designers the world over is now showcasing their Spring/Summer 2007 collection. I must be stuck in some kind of time warp then. ;-P

Having lived in Singapore for the last 15 years of my life, we tropical islanders don't have much choice but to clothe ourselves at most times, in cotton. Satin and silk on alternate days. Wool?! In this heat, you'll find me swimming in a puddle somewhere.

It's a different story altogether when I am in the office. You'd find me bundled up in wrap in the corner of my office. I've been told that people have mistaken me in a wrap as a ball. See, my office is housed in a building where if you have spent an hour in, you'd think you're in the North Pole somewhere. I kid you not. At lunch when I'm running the Amazing Race of some sort, you'd find me pressing my face against the full length windows in my office just so that I get a bit of warmth of the sun.

So after much deliberation, perhaps I should invest in a chic all year friendly wool sweater. Especially since I am expected to be travelling for work and play in the next year. It's always cooler than Singapore somewhere sometime in the year, right? ~ Inspira
