Summer Love

"In the midst of winter, I finally learned that there was in me an invincible summer." A. Camus

I knew I was different when the small wildflowers growing on the sidewalks always stopped me in my tracks.

As a child, I used to pretend I was a beauty queen and always had an orchid in my hair. In my teens, I gawk at calla lilies at the florists. These days, it's gerberas and irises that get me all excited. It's been a while since my last indulgence - a trip to Secret Garden is in good order. ~ Inspira
