still bogged down by work? i'm back in c-ville. the first thing i did when i woke up was to clean out my filing cabinet. i can't believe the amount of paper and ink i had used. the mail person left a crate of mail outside our apartment and i was thrilled, thrilled to receive a print from Ashley Goldberg. i first saw the print on Kathleen's blog (she has impeccable taste!) Ashley's "come on in" was just so breathtaking. it is lovely, E's and my future home is going to be full of lovely art, i just know it! i'm lusting for more.

turns out that Ashley has a blog and guess what, Ashley's boyfriend Drew is also reading Zinsser's book which i'd just bought from a used bookstore last weekend.

i now have time to regroup, de-clutter and clean out my grad-school-crap. oh, i need to buy an air ticket to Singapore too. while this new phase of life seems exciting and i'm feeling energized at the moment - behind the exuberance i do feel a tad nostalgic... i can't believe that i'm all done with school, i don't feel any letdown, but i do feel that i've trudged far and, i can't bear to leave E and C behind ... ~exp.
