inspira,
we are here enjoying the midwest summer - mild and cool compared to sunny virginia. it was a good feeling having passed the defense but nothing beats the fact that E and C are with me. C gets cuter by the minute. it was a really strange feeling that i'm back to where i had gone to school...revisting (physically and mentally) all the used bookstores, the thrift shops, the frozen custard shop, the restaurants i adored. i'm also amazed by how much i have forgotten about this place i used to call home. the mind sure has a way of selectiing memories, i suppose.
continuing with my current interest in ceramics, i'm hoping to learn more about Eva Zeisel. Her work is amazing, the curves, gorgeous. when all craziness is over, i'd like to listen to this interview from the NPR website. Crate and Barrel currently has an Eva Zeisel collection.

Oh, just love her. Thanks for the NPR link, hadn't heard about that!
Exp, I love that her works show curves that are quirky!
Ps. Been tardy with posts myself but will get around to it this weekend - too much to get on since returning to "reality".
