Easter

At 32, I know that Easter is more than just easter eggs and easter bunny. Easter has always been a more celebrated "holiday" at my grandparents' in Colonge.

In my childhood, I remember my teacher trying to get a class of 20 impish 7-year-olds interested in the stories of the bible by using imagery : eggs have long been a symbol of fertility and immortality. The egg reminds Christians of the rock tomb from which Jesus arose - that's what I learned in school. ~ Inspira
