E left this morning. As always, United figures that the best time to fly from southeast asia is 7 am in the morning, which means that E (and I) get up at 4.30 am to freshen our breath and shower, get into a cab by 5 and reach the airport at 5.30 and answer a host of luggage/security questions at the United gates. my last glimpse and kiss from E ends at 6.15 and i dragged my sorry a** back home to catch up on 2 hours of sleep. woke up, felt half-complete, but needed desperately to start the day - need to be buried in senseless work. perhaps i'll feel a little alive. (how does miss saigon cope?)
