gong xi fa cai, folks. it's the first time in 6 years that i'll be celebrating the spring festival - the lunar new year. my mum has bought peach blossoms in the hope that we will hear (my brother & sister's)wedding bells soon and she bought cushion covers with little chinese toddlers semi-hinting that i should have offspring any time soon. i can't help but fall in love with my mum - how she loves us all in little and big ways. we give out little 'ang pows' - little red envelopes with money in them to kids (in our culture, you are categorized as a kid till the night before you marry). i love this from Design Night, nonetheless, i don't think kids will appreciate them too much. we give ang pows to newlyweds too, perhaps Design Night should consider something similar for love birds. ~ exp.
