ooo inspira, thanks for the update on the Inhabit contest. I'm heading over to vote as well ;)
i had a great weekend. spent most of my time with my sister... we talked about her kids, our dreams: she hopes to set up a drama company serving churches and i want to set up my own printing workshop making bespoke products, i promised i'll design her posters (if i'm up to par, that is), how unbelievably "old" we are and how quickly her kids have grown up (and how she still hasn't gotten round the idea that she has a teenage son).
saturday evening was spent crafting this puppy for my niece Jade....
BB my sister thought a picture of a limbless puppy pretty gross
so i took another one with ears... turned out to be "just as gross"...
the chopstick was instrumental in flipping the puppy "right-side out"

- a trick my mom learned from my grandma "Popo"
tadah! the completed product
the belly button was sewn to low..." totally obscene": sheesh people, give me a break
But Jade loved it :)
I'm using the japanese print fabric for the Christmas ornament swap - the ornament sweat shop will kick start into action only next weekned... I spent much of my weekend having fun and now I'm wrecked with guilt for not working on my paper for the Chicago conference in January... yikes!
