here we are each at our own workstation, listening to john lennon's "imagine". i always enjoy moments like this - absorbed in our own world yet sharing the same summer warmth, the same illumination from the hazardous halogen torchiere, the bliss of being able to enjoy each other's silence - not needing to fill the space with words...
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
i'm beginning to understand why i resonate to the same environment differently at different times ... i'm changing my point of view - the conversations with the Creator of nature change with my experience. The same goes for inanimate objects - the creations of living - the dialogues with the designers and artists prod my mind and it opens, willing to listen and ponder and question.
Bodo Sperlein's Black Forest line for Dibbern and the Red Berry collection have me spellbound, all images from lille <-- I'm definitely paying a visit the next time i'm in windy city. ~exp.
