inspira, remember i told you how i shouldn't be buying more cool sh** no matter how cool they are? well, one big pile just landed at our doorstep on saturday and E was like, "What's this?" "Umm, I dunno" (honestly, i didn't know) "Well, it's for you." "Oh. *pause* yeah, my magazines!" *insert eye roll*
tee hee! i forgot all about the vintage vogue knitting books/magazines that i'd won on eBay. oh, they are so pretty. i love everything about them except for their musky smell, i was anticipating some mummified silverfish slipping out of the pages as i was flipping through them...*shudder* anyway, they are so lovely. the price of each magazine was listed as $0.50 on their covers. they were published in 1956. i promptly whipped out a financial calculator and punched some numbers furiously. for the price i paid, the nominal annual interest rate turned out to be on average around 4.2%. it was then that i realized i'm such a geek, freak-geek.
i realize that this week i've been particularly inspired by fashion. i'm steering myself away from eBay. i can tell i'm in a rather frivolous mood right now. thoughts to you! ~ exp.
